CB GLOBAL (China Brilliant Global Limited, 08026) has released its tenth Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report covering the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
Key governance updates • The board retains ultimate responsibility for ESG oversight and has integrated climate risk assessment into regular meeting agendas. • A dedicated taskforce is being planned to strengthen climate-related governance and establish formal decarbonisation targets.
Environmental performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions rose to 21.29 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent (tCO₂e) from 14.16 tCO₂e a year earlier. – Scope 1: 8.64 tCO₂e (first-time disclosure). – Scope 2: 12.58 tCO₂e, down from 13.88 tCO₂e. – Scope 3 (paper disposal/recycling): 0.07 tCO₂e, vs 0.28 tCO₂e. • Electricity use slipped 2.7% to 21,773 kWh, cutting consumption intensity to 320.19 kWh per employee from 532.88 kWh. • Water consumption rose to 311 m³ (up 16.5%), though intensity fell to 4.57 m³ per employee. • Paper usage dropped 75.5% to 142.50 kg; recycling captured 90% of paper waste. • Directional targets include maintaining or lowering energy use, expanding greenhouse-gas disclosure to full Scope 3 coverage and exploring renewable-energy adoption.
Workforce and human capital • Headcount climbed to 68 from 42, with 53% male and 47% female employees; all staff are full-time. • Staff turnover stood at 34.7%. • Training coverage surged to 96% of employees (6.51 training hours on average, up from 1.5 hours). • No work-related fatalities or injuries were recorded for the third consecutive year.
Responsible operations • Supplier base totals 49 partners in Mainland China; Hong Kong-based suppliers fell to zero from two. • No major product recalls or customer complaints occurred during the year. • Sixteen anti-corruption and anti-money-laundering training sessions were delivered; no legal cases related to corruption or integrity breaches were reported.
Future commitments • The company intends to introduce science-based emission-reduction targets, expand climate-risk scenario analysis and develop a formal community-investment framework focused on education, environmental protection and support for vulnerable groups.
